When Deeper Access Matters
Mold beneath carpets, inside padding, or behind interior trim can require more access than a mobile visit provides. In the shop, our team can disassemble interior components as needed to investigate affected areas and the moisture source. We agree on the access and work for your particular vehicle.
Access To The Rear Seat Floor
Removing agreed interior components can expose areas that need inspection and drying. More involved access is part of our separate, multi-day shop service in Pembroke, MA.
Edited Mazda video frames: water and mold were added during editing. The front carpet remains installed.
Rear Seat Floor
Rear-seat pan, remaining insulation, and belt hardware exposed after seat removal.
What The Plan Can Include
- Inspection of affected upholstery, carpeting, and hidden interior areas.
- Removal and reinstallation of agreed seats, carpet, or trim.
- Treatment, drying, and affected-material replacement where needed.
- Investigation of water intrusion and discussion of the required repair.
- Review of completed work and any remaining repair or follow-up needs.
Work On The Cause As Well As The Interior
Our goal is to address the moisture behind the mold alongside the cleanup. We explain which source repairs are included and which need a separate specialist. The vehicle condition, access, and material work determine the scope; we do not promise an identical outcome for every vehicle.
